Pop-up Books

Project Description

Pop-up books are a charming, expressive medium that can bring a childish sense of wonder to viewers in a very satisfying way. The action of opening a pop-up book to reveal a 3-dimensional universe is a simple yet rich experience.  I’ve gotten my hands dirty making a few pop-up cards, and am looking forward to creating more paper works using some soft circuitry.

I’ve also discovered that the movable mechanics of paper engineering make for great prototyping, but that’s a whole different story.
